Keep an inventory of your goods and take photographs
Store electronics in the rear of the unit
Lock with a high quality disc or cylinder lock
Store your goods on pallets or shelves
Protect your goods with drop cloths or plastic covers
Avoid storing goods that are not protected by your plan*

Filing a claim is simple, just follow these steps:
Confirm your goods are safe. If they are at risk of further damage, work to protect your goods, all while avoiding any potential risks to yourself or others.
Take pictures of your storage space and any damaged goods. Do not throw away any damaged goods until you speak with a customer service representative.
If a criminal act has taken place, reach out to your local police department to file a police report.
